Dubai Emirates’ flagship company will launch daily direct flights to Tel Aviv, Israel, starting December 6, 2021.
The airline will deploy the Boeing 777-300ER aircraft in a three-class configuration. Daily flights are scheduled to depart from Dubai at 14:50, arriving at Ben Gurion Airport at 16:25 local time. The return flight EK 932 will depart from Tel Aviv at 18:25, and will arrive in Dubai at 23:25 local time.
In addition, Emirates SkyCargo will offer 20 tons of cargo capacity in each direction between Dubai and Tel Aviv to support the export of pharmaceuticals, high-tech products, vegetables and other consumables from Tel Aviv.
The flights are also expected to bring to Israel raw materials and components for production, semiconductors and e-commerce packages.
“With the launch of services in just a few weeks, Emirates will provide more options for passengers to fly better to and from Tel Aviv via Dubai. We also expect to welcome more business and leisure travelers from Israel to Dubai, and beyond to other destinations. Emirates network destinations,” said Adnan Kazim, CEO Chief Commercial at Emirates Airlines.
“We would like to thank the UAE and the Israeli authorities for their support, and we look forward to the opportunity to serve Israel and open up more opportunities for the two countries to continue to build a strong relationship while increasing business and expanding tourism in the near future.” He added.
The move comes as the UAE and Israel continue to develop greater economic cooperation to drive growth in a variety of sectors, in addition to increasing trade flows between the two countries.
